Meet Jill

At the core of Jill’s work is a powerful question: How can I help foster an environment where creativity thrives? She answers that daily by inventing new strategies to wrangle cats (A.K.A. Justin…or, let’s be honest, all of us) and by discovering new processes that provide the team with greater efficiencies. Vers clients and creatives both benefit from her extensive background in administration, producing, and program direction. Although she rarely stands in the spotlight, she works behind-the-scenes keeping our production moving.

Jill has a creative flair herself.  She and her inspiring husband Jeff are core leaders of Masterpiece Ministries, which hosts summer camps and events that help high school students identify and develop their God-given gifts in the arts. She is also the proud mother of three creative, professional, adult children, including a musician, an award-winning film-maker, and a photographer.

This is her stuff

Up With People vinyl record: I traveled with Up With People for all of 1979 and met my best friends, who ultimately led me to faith in Christ.

Hotdogs: Chicago + hotdogs – our favorite food (#noketchup), in our favorite city, in memory of our beloved dachshund, Hot Diggity Dog

Funny Girl: Favorite movie to watch, songs to sing, and music to play on the piano – because “I’m the greatest star, I am by far, but no one knows it.”

Jewelry Box: My mom’s jewelry box and costume jewelry. I was always encouraged to imagine and play.

Phantom Playbill: First Broadway play I ever experienced. I was hooked for life.

Scarf & Rhino: First scarf and carving from my first life-changing trip to Kenya. There were more trips and I’m grateful.

Music Box: Special treasures from special times in my life. The good memories.

Masterpiece 2018 Postcard: Masterpiece Ministries – an arts camp that continues to change my life each summer. #masterpiececamp

Swim Goggles & SeaShell: My favorite form of exercise and my favorite place to relax.
