Sabian Greenroom Series | Brian Frasier-Moore

Sabian artist, Brian Frasier-Moore, is a force to be reckoned with. Although he is currently touring with Justin Timberlake, you may recognize him as the go-to drummer for the world’s greatest entertainers—like, Janet Jackson and Madonna.

Miguel Corteo, Vers’ Director of Photography had the pleasure of meeting up with Frasier-Moore on a recent tour stop in Tampa to discuss his love of the new Sabian FRX cymbals. Here are some insights Miguel gives into the creation of the Greenroom Series, and how Brian Frasier-Moore set the stage for future featured artists.

What is the Sabian Greenroom Series?

Vers started the Sabian Greenroom to begin conversations with professional drummers about their experience, their techniques, and their thoughts on Sabian products. When musicians and sound technicians watch a video and hear professionals musicians discuss why a Sabian product is their favorite, it validates the product in a way that nothing else can. If it’s good enough for Justin Timberlake’s drummer, then it’s definitely good enough for me.

What does Frasier-Moore have to say about the Sabian FRX Cymbals?

You know, he’s been playing Sabian cymbals for quite some time now, so he’s always been a fan of their cymbals. He really appreciates the sound that comes out of these new FRX cymbals. He likes them so much, he played with them for the Super Bowl Halftime Show this year. You should watch the video, though, and find out for yourself what he has to say.

What is next for the Sabian Greenroom Series?

We’ve got a lineup of artists who we’d like to interview for the series, so more content is coming out soon. We just interviewed and filmed Sabian drummer, Todd Sucherman, the drummer from Styx, so that’s an exciting interview to look forward to in the near future. I’ll keep you in suspense about who else you may see in the Greenroom Series. You won’t be disappointed.
